Despite the modern conveniences of online banking and digital statements, keeping track of finances can still be overwhelming. To help you get a clear idea of your current financial situation, GHCU is now offering a fantastic new money-management tool, Debt in Focus.

Debt in Focus is a free program that gives you a snapshot of where you are right now, so you can take control of your finances and make plans for a richer future. All you do is answer a few simple questions about your income and expenses. You don’t enter in any confidential details, so your information is secure.

Based on the answers you give, Debt in Focus provides:

  • an idea of your debt-to-income ratio, plus other status reports,
  • suggestions for ways to pay off debt sooner,
  • a personalized savings plan to help you build your savings,
  • a Personal Action Plan that outlines specific steps you can take to improve your financial situation.

If you’d like to take a closer look at your financial situation, you can access Debt in Focus from our homepage at ghcu.org.
