Roll On, GHCU Bike-to-Work Team

GHCU's Rain City Rollers demonstrate proper posture. And posturing.
It’s Bike-to-Work month here in Washington State, and GHCU has taken up the Commuter Challenge. Nine staff members have agreed to ride their bikes to work at least five times in May, and we’re doing well, despite the weather!
If you live in the area, you know it’s been a rather soggy month. The rain that we wring out of our Spandex after every ride may have dampened our socks but not our spirits. We’re rolled through rain and shine for 40 total trips, racking up 687 miles! At an estimated pound of CO2 per mile saved, we’ve prevented nearly 690 pounds of carbon from being added to our atmosphere.
If you see us on the roads, give us a nice, wide berth (three feet is recommended) and a friendly wave. And maybe a towel.
